| Details: Ahlstrom is a worldwide manufacturer of fiber based materials. We currently have the following position available at our Bethune, SC facility:  MANUFACTURING ENGINEER  The individual in this position will be responsible for providing engineering support for maintenance and operations reliability objectives, including the design, sizing, and specification of equipment and materials. Key Responsibilities: ·        Initiate, coordinate, and conduct specialized reliability-based preventive and predictive maintenance inspection and non-destructive testing for pressurized vessels, steam safety equipment, overhead cranes and hoists, fire sprinkler systems, oil lubrication systems, and utility lines and equipment.·        Prepare equipment layouts and mechanical drawings for new and existing equipment modifications and installations. Complete mechanical views, process flow diagrams, and equipment parts and materials lists.·        Perform detailed design of individual systems, and investigate and recommend mechanical components to meet requirements.  ·        Provide technical guidance in the development of various reliability-based preventive/predictive maintenance routines.·        Work with equipment suppliers and fabricators to obtain and negotiate accurate and timely quotations.   ·        Work closely with maintenance and operations staff to investigate equipment malfunctions and/or new installation design and development.·        Plan, design and implement projects and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations.·        Plan and develop Capital Project Requests, including financial estimations and business justifications.·        Provide technical advice and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical and equipment problems. | ||||
